One of Empire Building Construction’s current steel erection projects is the new TEC Equipment Sales and Service Facility, located on the north side of Sioux Falls near I-29 and Benson. This impressive structure consists of a 48,890 square foot shop and office space, as well as 11,960 square feet of mezzanine.

The main building is a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) with insulated metal wall panels (IMP) for superior thermal efficiency, and a Nucor CFR Standing Seam Roof System. This roofing system stands out as one of the best options on the market, checking all the boxes from performance and durability, to aesthetics and affordability. 

The mezzanines are constructed using joists and deck, adding an extra layer of practicality and space to the facility. This large metal building is meticulously designed to withstand a variety of climate conditions, including heavy snow loads, high winds, and significant temperature fluctuations. The durability and resilience of the steel construction ensure that the facility will maintain its integrity and functionality, regardless of the harsh weather conditions it may encounter.
